We’re a welcoming café in the heart of Twyford, serving carefully crafted coffee and a fresh, plant-based brunch and lunch menu. Whether you’re stopping by for a quiet morning, catching up with friends, or finding us at a local festival, Ola is all about good food, good coffee and good company.
Community is at the centre of what we do. Our supper clubs bring people together to share food and conversation, and we love inviting the local Brownies to decorate our windows, volunteering at village events, and finding new ways to give back to the community that supports us.
When it comes to the food itself, we keep things simple and honest: cooked from scratch, using whole foods, with little or no sugar, and never ultra-processed ingredients. We only use carefully chosen oils (never rapeseed) and source produce from local, family-run farms to keep food miles low and quality high.
We’re proud to work with small suppliers who share our values. Anonymous Coffee Co. roast our beans just down the road. &noord make our beautiful ceramic cups, while our takeaway cups are waste-free options from Stroodles and Ecoffee Cup. We use refillable cleaning products from Maya’s Refillables, and oat milk from Minor Figures, chosen for its lower carbon footprint.
In our first year, with the support of our customers, we’ve already saved over 65,000 cups from landfill. We’ve also been named one of the UK’s Most Innovative and Sustainable Cafés 2024 by Brita Professional and won the Go Green Award from Twyford Together.
We know there’s always more to do, but we’re committed to learning, improving and doing what we can for our community and the planet. Whether it’s brunch, a flat white, or one of our events, we’d love you to be part of it.
